Compounding Medication
Compounding Medicine is the process and art of making personalized and customized medications which suit the needs of each individual patient based upon his/her doctor’s diagnosis. At the Foot & Ankle Specialists of South Jersey, our physicians will create a unique prescription formulation, combining an assortment of appropriate ingredients, to best address your symptoms and diagnoses.
These Compounding Medications are applied to the skin, and they are safe as well as extremely effective. By administering these creams and solutions topically, we are significantly reducing potential risks of allergic reaction and drug toxicity. In addition, these medications do not stress the liver, kidney or digestive tract.
Types of Compounding Medication Treatment Options Available:
· Anti-Inflammatory Blend: This therapy may combat swelling and the associated pain from muscle aches and soft tissue damage.
